Obviously, I haven't been posting much lately. Here's what I have been doing (besides working, which I have calculated as taking up 73% of my waking hours. Praise!):

The Go! Team Thunder, Lighting, Strike
Sigur Rós Takk...
Pavement/S. Malkmus

Neal Stephenson Cryptonomicon
Joseph Heller Catch-22
Rudy Rucker Infinity and the Mind (Been working on that one for a while!)
Robert McChesney Rich Media, Poor Democracy

Arrested Development, season two
Mr. Show with Bob and David
I (heart) Huckabees

Star Wars Battlefront
We (heart) Katamari

  • You think you're busy now - wait until you finish Cryptonomicon and move on to Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle. Should I mention that Cryptonomicon II: El codigo Pontifex is also out now?

  • I checked out Amazon and there's a also a "Criptonomicon III : El codigo Aretusa," but it looks like that and the one you mentioned may be the novel broken into three parts for a foreign language release?

I am right now getting ready to dive into the Baroque cycle, just as soon as I finish up some other books I've been working on for a while--I don't think I want to be distracted with other stuff while reading those!

  • Quicksilver is excellent. I'm getting ready to read The Confusion soon. Perhaps while sitting beside a roaring fire of seagull droppings in the fireplace of my Qwghlmian library.
